Oldham College are looking to appoint an Account Manager in the Construction department.

The Role:

The Construction department are looking for a passionate individual with a strong track record of business development and sales, including delivery to targets. Working effectively with Directors, Heads of Faculty and Programme Leaders, Work Experience Placement Officers and the wider Business Development team, you will be working with the local and regional employer base to build strong relationships with employers, managing overall relationships as part of the team responsible for T Level and mandatory Placements.

Key responsibilities for our Account Manager with responsibility for Construction:

  • To be responsible for maintaining relationships with employers and developing opportunities through workforce development planning and support for business.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of the employers position in the market, their product/service and competitive landscape.
  • Manage employer input and feedback for all accounts using the CRM where required.
  • Establish and build strong working relationships with business leaders at all levels.
  • To meet and exceed monthly targets in relation to numbers of placements and upselling to employers.

To be successful as an Account Manager with responsibility for Construction you will need:

  • A minimum of a level 4 industry qualification in sector that’s being applied for.
  • Strong track record of business development and sales, including delivery to targets.
  • Strong knowledge of the sector and understanding of consumer behaviour in the industry.
  • Experience of delivering employer engagement strategies.
