The Position: We’re looking for an Emotional Wellbeing Hub Co-ordinator - 25hrs per week 36 weeks per year

North Warwickshire and South Leicestershire College are looking for an Emotional Wellbeing Hub Co-ordinator to coordinate support for students that are dealing with mental health issues via the College Wellbeing Hub at our Hinckley Campus. The post holder will also be required to conduct activities and provide advice and resources to improve the emotional wellbeing of the student cohort. The Hub is open daily during term time only.

What skills are we looking for:

  • Minimum Level 3 Qualification in either Youth Work or Mental Health related subjects
  • Experience of supporting young people and vulnerable adults with Mental Health issues
  • Able to communicate effectively with students and staff at all levels of the organization

Responsibilities for the role:

  • To work with students identified as dealing with mental health issues at our Hinckley Campus.
  • To coordinate services available to all students within the College Wellbeing Hubs.
  • Provide appropriate resources, activities and sign posting opportunities to support students with their mental health.
  • Liaise with Designated Safeguarding Leads to keep vulnerable students safe from harm
