Accounts Assistant

Salary on appointment will be £22,681 per annum, dependant on skills and experience, with an annual increment up to £24,533 per annum.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Accounts Assistant to join the Finance, Planning and Governance Department. 

Key duties of the role will include daily processing of cashbook transactions, controlling account reconciliations and establishing positive relationships with internal departments, students (prospective and existing) and the University’s bankers and liaise with each stakeholder to resolve any queries and provide information. 

You will have a good standard of education with passes at GCSE at Grades A-C including Mathematics and English or equivalent, experience of working with a modern computerised accounting system (e.g. Agresso, Sage, Oracle), ideally previous experience in accounts reconciliation and will be able to meet all essential criteria in the candidate brochure. 

This full-time post is available immediately on an indefinite basis.
