Oxford University Department for Continuing Education (OUDCE) is seeking to appoint an Assistant Course Manager for the Language Centre to lead the delivery of administration for its full range of courses.
About the role
The Assistant Course Manager will manage the courses administration team which runs the communications and marketing of our courses, course timetabling, learner enrolment and on-course administration, fee payments, and reception. In addition, you will assist the financial management and planning function, and liaise with Estates Services to ensure the safe running of the premises. The role reports to the two co-Directors of the Centre and will support them in ensuring the efficient and effective administration of all key processes, in line with departmental and University requirements.
This is a full-time (1 FTE) position but part-time appointments can be considered (0.8 FTE minimum), available on a 12-month fixed-term contract or secondment.
About you
You will have significant administrative experience with a track record of effectively supervising and leading teams, thinking creatively to find solutions, and implementing impactful improvements. You will have excellent organisational and communication skills with a strong focus on customer service. You will also demonstrate strong numerical and IT skills, with close attention to detail.
