We are seeking an enterprising and motivated Associate Programme Director to oversee the running of our MSc Law and Finance Programme. The MSc Law and Finance is a new degree programme at LSE admitting the first students to study from September 2025.

Working closely with Academic Programme Director and senior Departmental administrators both in the Law School and the Department of Finance, the post-holder will be responsible for student tutoring, admissions and careers provision. In addition they will work with a team of administrators on all aspects of student service delivery, marketing, alumni engagement and external relations, as well as helping to feed into the development of services offered by for the programme. There is a business development side to the role, with the Associate Programme Director being expected to lead student recruitment and contribute towards initiatives to target and attract the highest quality student to the programme.

The ideal candidate will have experience of working in the financial services sector and/or the interface of law and finance, and hold a degree in a related discipline. As a part-time role it offers flexibility for the post-holder to organise their time around other commitments. It will require some evening work at several points during the year, to run orientations, recruitment events and attend dinners; however, this will not be every week. The workload is also less intensive outside of the 29 weeks of teaching.

The LSE Law School is one of the world’s top law schools with an international reputation for the quality of its teaching and legal research. The LSE Department of Finance is a world renowned and growing academic Department at LSE, delivering high quality degree programmes to highly qualified students.
