The Faculty of Law, Crime and Justice is seeking a forensic practitioner with a strong background in forensic science or relevant experience to make a significant contribution to the growth of our Forensic suite of programmes. We particularly welcome candidates who are currently working within the forensic sector or have demonstrable skills around forensic investigations. The successful candidate will have a particular focus on our new Forensic Science programme and will be expected to teach on forensic investigation modules. We are a dynamic department currently expanding our team of tutors and facilities.
As a new member of our growing team, you will be expected to teach modules in Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, and Forensic Toxicology, drawing from your expertise as a forensic practitioner. Your experience in supporting forensic investigations will be invaluable in shaping the curriculum and providing students with practical insights.
You will also be required to supervise undergraduate dissertations and expand your research portfolio, leveraging your experience in the field of forensic science. Other topics may be taught, depending on the specific expertise of the applicant. You will make a positive contribution to the development of the Forensics curriculum at Winchester, utilizing your practical knowledge gained from working in the forensic science industry.
