The University is looking for an experienced manager to develop and shape the Assessment and Awards Team within the Academic Registry. This is an exciting post that will report to the Academic Registrar. The post-holder will provide leadership and management to the Assessment and Awards Team and will make significant contribution to the development of the strategy, policy and practice for student assessment ensuring compliance with internal and external regulations and PSRB requirements and the delivery of a consistent and high quality service to our students. Through these responsibilities the post holder will take a leading role to ensure the effective delivery of assessment related operations, customer-focused communication and strong working relationships with the Academic Institutes, other Professional Services, collaborative partners and external agencies.
The successful candidate will have substantial knowledge and experience of dealing with HE assessment administration, regulatory frameworks and information management systems. The post holder will be able to develop and continuously improve effective approaches to the management and administration of the University’s student assessment, progression, award and graduation functions.
