We are currently recruiting for a Technical Supervisor to provide technical support, training and advice to our animation students and tutors, ensuring the smooth running of the curriculum and productions.
The Technical Supervisor for animation will work closely with the Head of Animation and will keep abreast of the latest practices in animation across all forms of techniques, including stop-motion, digital and traditional line and CGI animation.
The successful candidate will enjoy working in a changing and varied environment, be well organised and able to handle regular, routine tasks. Flexibility, good oral and written communication skills and the ability to deal effectively with staff and students are essential.
Core duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to; providing practical help and instruction to students', answering their queries and providing support where required, including advising on the setup and implementation of equipment, as well as diagnosing and fixing problems with animation equipment; supporting the animation curriculum's workshops, including setting up and supporting end-of-project screenings and archiving.
