Teaching Services Manager

Full-time: 35 hours per week

Open-ended: permanent, available from October 2024

The opportunity

You will be a key member of the School’s Teaching and Student Services team, leading on strategic oversight and responsibility for the delivery, planning and administrative management and support of UG and PG teaching services. The preferred candidate will have experience of leading and motivating teams, engage actively in the development of process, and have a flair for using data to inform change. The ability to build and maintain excellent working relationships at all levels across the School and University will be essential.

Your skills and attributes for success:

• Degree in relevant subject or equivalent formal training or/and hands-on experience in a similar or related role(s), or substantial vocational experience, demonstrating development through involvement in progressively more demanding relevant work/roles.
• Established experience of both directly leading and managing teams and working collaboratively across boundaries in relation to service delivery and development.
• Commitment to excellence in the development and delivery of services.
• Proven experience of project and/or change management within a complex and multi-stakeholder environment.
• Proven high-level problem solving and analytical ability alongside well-developed communication and influencing skills.
