Digital Communications Officer

This exciting post is based within the Alumni and Development Office and assists our Communications Manager to deliver and transform College communications.

The post holder will build on our successful digital presence, creating content that is fresh and relevant. This is a unique opportunity to help shape communications at the College.

Highlights of the role:

• Helping to develop the College’s communications with its audiences; e.g. alumni, prospective and current students, academic and non-academic staff etc

• Developing, organising and creating high-quality, original and creative content for digital channels, including video and photography.

The role holder will have:

• Proven experience in producing effective digital content.
• Social media monitoring and management skills.
• Practical experience of working with a content management system.
• Be creative and keen to seize opportunities.
• Willing to work outside of normal office hours to capture specific College activities.

The successful candidate may also have:

• Advanced video production and editing skills.
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite or similar.
• Experience with WordPress and Squarespace.
• Experience with social media management platforms.
