About the role
The Student Hub is seeking a passionate and motivated advisor who will work to support our students across a 24/7 service, with a shift pattern of 4 days on, 4 days off rota, working a 12-hour shift, from 08:00 until 20:00 This post is offered on a full-time, permanent basis. There is also a further 10% shift enhancement in addition to this. You will be responsible for the provision of advice, information and guidance to University of Southampton students and customers on a wide array of subjects including student fees and funding, accommodation, graduation, careers events and ID cards. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated individual who is interested in enhancing their customer service skills.
About you
A successful Student Hub Advisor will possess excellent customer service skills, as well as a competency in Microsoft Office and an aptitude for learning service specific software and internal systems. A knowledge of higher education, student support and issues effecting students from a wide range of backgrounds is desirable. The role involves interaction with our students and the successful candidate must be a good communicator, both written and verbal, and confident working alongside a variety of colleagues, and building relationships.
