Applications are sought for a committed Post-doctoral Research Fellow to work with Dr Jan-Willem Bos conducting research for a EPSRC funded project entitled Bandstructure and doping engineering for unprecedented power factors in half-Heusler thermoelectrics. The primary duties will be to undertake experimental research work, including materials synthesis, structure and property characterisation and dissemination of research findings.
The successful applicant will have (or be near to completion of) a PhD in Chemistry with expertise in solid-state chemistry and ideally will have experience with thermoelectric materials.
The post is available for 36 months starting 01/10/2024 or as soon as possible thereafter.
