Job Summary
City-REDI is an evidence-based and policy-focused academic research institute focusing on finding solutions to place-based inclusive economic, social and environmental development. We work in partnership with people and places to facilitate local, regional and responsible growth for the benefit of all.
We are recruiting for a Research Fellow who will conduct research in the areas of innovation and regional development, and contribute to the place-based approaches to evidence collection and policy analysis. The Research Fellow will contribute to existing projects and writing bids to generate new research funding, collaborating with interdisciplinary research teams operating within their area of specialism as well as bridging knowledge gaps within the research team as appropriate. The appropriate candidate will demonstrate strong analytical and communication skills. Experiences of engaging with policy makers and relevant stakeholders, analysing national and sub-national policies, as well as analysing organisational level data will be advantage.
We appreciate a range of methodological approaches to our research. We are particularly interested in candidates with expertise in quantitative methods, including econometrics, and with knowledge of UK data sources.
