We wish to appoint an exceptional Research Fellow or Senior Research Fellow, depending on experience. The post holder will develop, conduct and report evidence synthesis work, including proposals for submission to research funders, all in relation to health and social care. If a Senior Research Fellow is appointed they would take on a leadership role, with responsibility for developing and co-ordinating a programme of evidence synthesis.
The successful applicant will have skills in quantitative and qualitative research approaches together with an ability to find and critically appraise research and summarise bodies of research accurately. They will work with a team of researchers, as part of the NIHR Applied Research Collaboration Greater Manchester (ARC-GM) and will be based in the School of Health Sciences in the Faculty of Biology, Medicine and Health. This is a full-time post and the post-holder will be office-based at the University of Manchester campus on Oxford Road.
