Abertay is a modern university with a global outlook, rooted in its local and national communities. We have made our mark with high quality, well-directed teaching and research, and a stimulating and enriching experience for our students.

The newly formed Department hosting the Biomedical, Forensic Science, Food Sciences and Engineering academic provision sits within the School of Applied Sciences. Our department is highly research active, consisting of over 30 staff delivering a range of undergraduate (Hons) and postgraduate degree programmes. The majority of our courses are accredited by relevant professional bodies.  We are proud of the commendations we have received for our teaching, our sustained links with practitioners in all programmes, and excellent national ratings for student satisfaction. Students and staff have access to a variety of high quality laboratories equipped with recognised equipment and software.

Reporting to the Head of Department, you will provide excellent teaching to our students, developing and delivering content as well as managing modules. You will be a team player committed to the success and development of our department and our students, collaborating effectively across the team to share practice.
