Based at our Harrow Weald campus, our Foundation Studies section is a well-established area of the College, and offers provision and support for students with a range of learning difficulties and disabilities. Our learners have a range of special needs including learning difficulties, ASD and complex needs.
We are seeking to appoint a full time Lecturer to join our team, who will plan and deliver across a range of courses within the section and contribute to the development and co-ordination of courses.
You will need to possess a degree or appropriate qualification within this subject area, and have experience of teaching learners with SEN. You will need to possess or be willing to obtain an advanced level teaching qualification, and have up-to-date knowledge of good practice in the area.
You will need to possess a degree in a relevant subject area (or minimum Level 3 qualification with substantial teaching experience in Foundation) and have experience of teaching within the Foundation Learning area including SEN. You will either possess or be willing to obtain a Level 5 teaching qualification for the FE sector, which the College will support financially.
