Applications are invited for a temporary Teaching and Scholarship lectureship (maternity cover) in Conservation Science in the School of Environmental and Natural Sciences.
The successful candidate will be a motivated Lecturer who will contribute to teaching at undergraduate and MSc level, run tutorials and support field courses, conservation degrees and project students as appropriate. The successful candidate will join the dynamic conservation science group at Bangor University.
Applicants should have a PhD (or be near to completion) in conservation science or a related discipline (geography, ecology, environmental economics), an understanding of the interdisciplinary nature of conservation, and an enthusiasm for teaching in the classroom, in the field and online.
The role is available from 1st September 2024 or as soon as possible thereafter and the post is available until 30th June 2025.
This role will be located on campus at Bangor. Through our Dynamic Working framework, there will also be the option to spend some time working remotely (although remaining in the UK) to support work life balance, which will be discussed further with candidates at interview.
