The Department for Health at the University of Bath invites applications for the position of Lecturer (Assistant Professor) in Sport and Social Sciences.
This role will contribute to our growing research strength in the understanding of individual, socio-cultural and structural factors that influence opportunities and experiences in sport, physical activity and health.
You will join our Centre for Sport, Physical Activity and Health Equality (SPHERE).
The teaching for this role will be on our BSc Sport Management and Coaching, with opportunities to teach across other UG courses and our MSc Sport Management.
We value contributions to the academic community and therefore expect the successful applicant to engage in teaching support such as personal tutoring, dissertation supervision, course development and other administrative activities as they arise.
The proposed start date is 1st September 2024, and the post is advertised on a permanent basis.
