An exciting opportunity has arisen for a XR Strategy Manager to join the University’s Information Services. The purpose of this role is to support the continued success and growth of the University of Glasgow’s outstanding XR technology operations.
The successful candidate will work closely with the XR Lab Manager, and under the direction of the University’s XR Project Board, to drive utilisation of our extraordinary XR Teaching Lab in Partick, and to prospect for and support research opportunities for colleagues using ARC-XR – our flagship XR research facility within the Advanced Research Centre. This role will require building excellent relationships across both the research and teaching functions of the University, and engaging with internal and external stakeholders in order to build a thriving and sustainable portfolio of XR services and projects.
This post is full time (35 hours per week) and offered on a fixed term basis for 26 months in the first instance.
