The Information Services division (UIS) at the University of Cambridge are seeking an experienced Servers and Storage Administrator for a new permanent position within the Servers & Storage Linux team, to support the University's Cyber Action Plan.
The Servers and Storage team provides a wide variety of IT infrastructure to run services offered to the entire University. This role supports and develops the operation of core systems, with a focus on Server Security and Linux system administration.
In this role you will administer servers and storage in private and public clouds, along with security compliance and monitoring work. You will also provide advice and guidance on security strategies, managing identified risks and enabling the adoption of standards. The Servers & Storage team offers a supportive and collaborative environment, and you will get to work alongside subject-matter experts. You will have the opportunity to learn new skills and develop your career.
