Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Events, Communications & Staffing Administrator to join the Department of Chemical Engineering at Imperial College London.
Working closely with both the Communications Manager and the Administration & Staffing Manager, you will be responsible for providing frontline support for a wide range of key activities. You will lead on website and digital/social media support and co-ordinate and deliver events and ensure seamless communication for the department’s activities across a range of channels.
Duties and responsibilities
As the first point of contact for all staffing matters, you will also take a lead in the administration of HR transactional work, managing the Staffing inbox and coordinating all activity to ensure that all processes are delivered effectively for the benefit of all staff in the Department.
This newly created position will be busy and varied, requiring high levels of enthusiasm and organisational skills, successful multitasking and a proven ability to communicate confidently and professionally.
Essential requirements
Educated to degree level or equivalent, you will be experienced in the planning and managing of events, whilst able to display relevant experience of administering HR processes. The post demands flexibility, commitment and a high level of confidentiality. The ability to work autonomously and under pressure is essential.
Occasional work out of core hours will be required, including for evening events.
