A full time Research Assistant position funded by the BBSRC is available in the Division of Cellular and Molecular Pathology working within the laboratory of Dr Paolo D'Avino to contribute to a research project investigating the regulation and function of cell division by phosphorylation.
Candidates should have a B.Sc. or preferably an M.Sc. degree in a relevant discipline (Biology/Biomedicine) and considerable experience in human cell culture, molecular biology, and microscopy. The ability to work both independently and as part of a team, coupled with good communication and organizational skills is required. Other duties/responsibilities will include preparation of reagents, maintenance of stocks, and assisting in the day-to-day running of the laboratory.

Fixed-term: The post is available until 31st August 2025 starting on the 27th of August 2024 or as soon as possible thereafter and subject to a probationary period.
