Role Details

We are seeking a part-time, Lecturer in Audio. We are looking for a versatile audio specialist to work primarily with, and support, students on our ‘Film Production’ and ‘Screenwriting & Producing’ courses. With experience in postproduction audio, location and studio-based sound recording. Having expertise in another area of film, photography or digital media production would be a benefit as there may be opportunities to teach other specialisms.

You will design and deliver outstanding, inspirational teaching and learning across campus-based, blended and online learning environments. You will also play a key role in providing students with an excellent experience and work collaboratively with others to support the student journey across the University.

You should have HE teaching experience in a relevant field and a background of using

digital tools and content and/or blended learning to enrich the design and delivery of teaching and learning. You will be a strong communicator, with excellent interpersonal skills with a sound knowledge of the specialist area and current educational practices in the field. In addition, you will have the ability to design and/or deliver innovative, inclusive teaching and learning.

Interviews will likely be held early July.
