You will undertake research to support the work of the department and develop its reputation, both internally and externally. Assist the project leader and, where appropriate, project collaborators in the successful execution of the project.
The ideal candidate should possess a good honours degree in a relevant subject, as well as advanced knowledge in lithium-ion battery anode development.
Experience developing and electrochemically testing anode materials combined with other materials analysis techniques.
Be able to manage the research aspects of the project including contributing to academic publications, technical reports and other presentations and dissemination methods.
The ability to share information with colleagues/partners and produce recommendations through participation in regular meetings, development of project plans and preparation of technical presentations.
