We have an exciting opportunity for a highly-motivated individual who is developing a career in evidence synthesis at the Health Economics and Health Technology Assessment (HEHTA) Research Unit.
The successful candidate will make a leading contribution to evidence synthesis research within the Evidence Synthesis Group at Complex Reviews Synthesis Unit (CRSU). The Evidence Synthesis Group @CRSU, embedded within HEHTA, is funded by the National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR). The aim of the Group is to address knowledge gaps, and to answer specific needs of clinical and health policy decision-makers across the four nations of the UK.
The primary role of the postholder is to lead commissioned evidence synthesis in various research topics. They will lead the formulation research proposals; the undertaking of systematic reviews and meta-analysis; and the dissemination of findings to a diverse range stakeholders. There will also be opportunities for the postholder to develop their own applied and/or methodological research in evidence synthesis.
This post is full time and has funding for up to 36 months.
