Our Highfields campus based in Nottingham’s Science Park is the home to Engineering, Electrical Installation, Automotive and Step into STEM. The Highfields campus consists of state-of-the-art workshops, labs and classrooms and is home to approximately 1000 students. Our aim is to become a nationally recognised centre for excellence for Engineering, Automotive and Electrical technology. To become to the “go to” in Nottingham for technology and innovation and known locally for its reputation for outstanding education.
Reporting to the Assistant Principal. This is a crucial role providing outstanding leadership and supporting development of colleagues. As well as ensuring a high-quality student experience.
The post holder will assist the Assistant Principal to create a positive learning and assessment environment. Leading the drive to achieve high standards in behaviour and student engagement throughout the campus and cross college. To play a lead role in Safeguarding within the Centre. To support the Assistant Principal to deliver the curriculum plan that meets the local skills needs. To implement quality assurance processes for all aspects of their allocated range of subjects. Carrying out standard line management duties with their direct reports.
What you’ll bring
We require a self-motivated and dedicated leader to fulfil this role. The ideal candidate will have experience of leading a varied curriculum and a proven track record of delivering high quality results. You will be skilled in leading a diverse team of staff and used to working with support services to build sustainable relationships and improve outcomes for students.
