We are looking for researchers with extensive experience in lithium metal batteries, proven by a strong publication record, with specific expertise in characterisation of the solid electrolyte interphases.
This position is available from November 2024 and is fixed term for 1 year until November 2025.
With a background in the field of lithium metal anode batteries, you will be a well organised and self-motivated scientist, with the ability to manage the day-to-day running of a research project.
You will hold a first-class master’s degree in Materials and have (or be close to completion of) a PhD/DPhil in Materials.
You will have previous experience in writing research and beamline access proposals and specialist knowledge in the research area, as well as excellent communication and writing skills.
Working in collaboration with Nissan Motor Company and as part of a team of 10 in Oxford we are working on development of solid-state lithium batteries.
