We have an opportunity for a GP Year Director Year 3 to act as Primary Care role model for students in MBChB Year 3. You will work closely with existing Year Directors to help with the smooth running of the clinical placements including but not exclusively: student support, placement allocation, academic day teaching and assessment planning and delivery.
You would be expected to continue to hold a substantive role in General Practice. The remuneration would be expected to be for one session per week (on the payscale for GP Educators), with the required University duties taken on at times to suit the successful applicant’s other roles. We envisage the term of appointment as being for one year in the first instance, with extension by mutual agreement.
We welcome applications from experienced General Practitioners, with a good knowledge of the challenges and opportunities afforded by working in the community.
