The Role
The HR Learning and Development Team work with managers and staff across the University to develop the skills, confidence and culture that will enable us to achieve our strategic goals.
Learning and Development Advisers play a key role in the design, delivery and evaluation of L&D activities at the University. This 12 month fixed-term Learning and Development Adviser role will work collaboratively with colleagues in L&D, across HR and the University to deliver a range of L&D programmes aligned with our People Strategy.
In this role you will input, advise and lead a range of projects aimed at enhancing the skills, knowledge and capability of staff across the University. You will grow existing projects to support digital skills for all staff, and a targeted academic staff development programme, alongside the development of new programmes to support teams and departments to deliver the University’s strategy and vision.
We are seeking to appoint an L&D Adviser with a commitment to working collaboratively to deliver a high quality staff experience. You will have experience of planning and delivering projects and events, creating training materials for different audiences and planning and evaluating training. Committed to promoting inclusion and wellbeing, you will draw on this to inform the delivery of equitable and inclusive learning and development opportunities at the University.
