The Department of Physics is searching for an individual with excellent organisational skills, experience of working in teaching practicals and with a sound knowledge of the base concepts in Physics, able to enthuse and engage undergraduate students.
About the role
This post is part of a team primarily providing support to undergraduate teaching in practical labs.
Through clear communications with the technical and academic teaching teams, you will maintain good organisation, stocking and timely preparation and turnover of the lab setups and equipment, as well as, promote good health and safety practice.

About you
The ideal candidate will have experience in technical support within a higher education teaching environment.
Experience in health and safety compliance, including writing risk assessment and COSHH, would be an advantage.
Candidates with a degree in Physics or equivalent in a relevant scientific discipline, or suitable work experience are encouraged to apply.
Effective time-management skills, efficiency, enthusiasm and an agile approach to work are essential.
