The Role

We seek an exceptional programme director to lead our postgraduate certificate in Learning and Teaching in Higher Education (programme details here: https://www.london.ac.uk/study/courses/postgraduate/pgcert-learning-teaching-higher-education). Your passion for and experience in inclusive, reflective, innovative, and highly effective educator development will support excellent outcomes for the higher education teachers we work with across the globe, in this fully online programme.

You will direct and lead the distance learning PGC Learning and Teaching in Higher Education Programme with responsibility for maintaining, enhancing, and innovating the quality of the programme and the student experience. You will coordinate the work of colleagues teaching in the modules and assessments and lead the evaluation, analysis, and iterative development of the programme.

This is an opportunity to work with a richly diverse cohort of higher education educators from the UK across the globe, supporting the development their locally contextualized practice. Consequently, you will demonstrate a strong focus on inclusive practice and experience of internationalization along with expertise in online/blended teaching and learning. We are seeking a colleague with research/scholarship in the field of education.

The University currently operates a Hybrid Working framework involving a mix of working remotely and in the office. Typically, the postholder will be able to work remotely for up to 60% of their working week, however you will be required to attend on specific days for training or team meetings.

The University will be unable to sponsor candidates for a visa for this role. Successful applicants must be able to demonstrate their right to work in the UK for the duration of their employment.
