JOB DECRIPTION
We are seeking an effective Partnership Operations Administrator to join our small, friendly team in providing executive administrative support to the Senior Management Team within Bath Business School and to the academic staff responsible for the portfolio of partnership provision within the school.
About the Role
As Partnership Operations Administrator, you will be the administrative ‘hub’ for ongoing multiple projects, including monitoring moderation, portfolio development and enhancement activities or implementation of new processes or ways of working. You will deliver the administrative provision and support provided to partnership programmes across the school, while managing relationships with contributors and stakeholders. You will construct and maintain the annual calendar for our collaborative provision to ensure that operational planning is effective. This will include deadlines for key activities such as moderation, suspensions, examination periods, partner reviews, board meetings and other quality assurance processes.
As Partnership Operations Administrator you will also act as a key contact for external partners (including Programme Directors, Lecturers and Administrators) to enable them access to relevant teaching resources and other key academic material. Supporting the Partnership Leader in the management of the partnership external examining system, you will ensure correspondence with external examiners and ensure that operational planning is effective, and deadlines are met. In addition, you will construct and or enhance systems to monitor programme delivery and assessment points, including monitoring moderation processes to ensure deadlines are met both by the Business School and the partner.
About You
You will deliver excellent customer service, putting students and the business needs of the university at the heart of your work. You will have proven experience of establishing and maintaining effective systems and procedures and the ability to analyse problems whilst using your initiative in recommending appropriate solutions. You must have a proven ability to work both independently and as part of a team and be able to communicate, liaise and negotiate effectively with a wide range of people including staff, students, members of the public and external clients.
