This post provides an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic doctor to develop their teaching skills and knowledge of clinical pharmacology, therapeutics and prescribing. The postholder will work within a dynamic team of educators to develop and deliver aspects of the UK’s first BSc in Clinical Pharmacology and contribute to teaching medical and pharmacy students. Experience will include curriculum design, small and large group teaching and assessment, and development and delivery of online learning resources. The postholder will have the opportunity to undertake a postgraduate certificate in healthcare and biomedical education.
Applicants should be medically qualified, have completed foundation years 1 and 2 and show evidence of an interest in pharmacology. They should be an excellent communicator with some experience of organising and delivering teaching and be committed to obtaining a postgraduate qualification in education.
