About the Role

We are currently recruiting a permanent Recruitment Administrator to help us deliver outstanding service and support to our colleagues and prospective candidates. You will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Talent Acquisition team, who are responsible for all aspects of recruitment within the Cambridge University Development and Alumni Relations office.

A typical week in this role might include scheduling and running interviews, interacting with applicants, reviewing recruitment marketing material, and maintaining recruitment records.

About you

Successful candidates will have experience in customer services, administration, or similar roles, and be able to demonstrate a real passion for providing outstanding customer service. You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, immaculate attention to detail, and a flexible approach to work as it pertains to supporting colleagues and priorities.

About us

Development and Alumni Relations is the alumni relations and fundraising arm of the University. We are responsible for (1) raising major philanthropic gifts from alumni and non-alumni (2) Communicating persuasively to inspire, inform, and engage our audiences (3) Building links and encouraging lifelong relationships between the University and its alumni and supporters (4) Ensuring that the worldwide community of over 300,000 alumni are well-equipped to be effective ambassadors and advocates for Cambridge.

We work collaboratively with colleagues throughout Collegiate Cambridge, including our 31 Colleges, Cambridge University Health Partners, and Cambridge in America, to promote positive relations with our alumni and supporters and generate philanthropic income.

This role is based in central Cambridge. We practise a hybrid working model and the successful candidate will be expected to be in the office for a minimum of two days a week.
