Based at our iconic Roundhouse campus, we are seeking a passionate Assessor of Early Years to join our dedicated team on a maternity cover basis. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to an ambitious and inclusive College community.
The Opportunity
This role presents a valuable opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the development of future Early Years professionals by delivering high-quality teaching, assessment, and support throughout their apprenticeship journey. It offers the chance to work closely with learners to drive progress, retention, and achievement, while also taking ownership of the full apprenticeship lifecycle—from recruitment through to successful completion. With a strong focus on compliance and quality, the role enables the effective use of digital platforms such as OneFile and Promonitor to monitor progress, track assessment activity, and maintain accurate documentation. Overall, it is an excellent opportunity to combine coordination, coaching, and quality assurance skills in a role that directly contributes to learner success and the wider Early Years sector.

About You
You are a motivated and learner-focused professional with a strong understanding of Early Years practice and a passion for supporting individuals to achieve their full potential. Confident in communicating at all levels, you build positive relationships with learners, employers, and colleagues, adapting your approach to meet diverse needs and changing priorities. You bring experience of delivering or assessing within apprenticeship or vocational programmes, with a proven ability to support learner progress, retention, and achievement while maintaining accurate, compliant records. Organised and reflective in your practice, you are committed to continuous professional development and delivering high-quality learning experiences. You are flexible, willing to travel, and comfortable working across different settings, using your initiative to manage workloads and respond effectively to programme demands.
