We are seeking an experienced teaching practitioner to fill the role of Lecturer – Teacher Training. You would teach and carry out lesson observations across a range of Teacher Training Programmes to students of all ages, including the Level 3 Award in Education and Training (AET), the Level 5 Learning and Skills Teacher Apprenticeship and the Level 5 Diploma in Teaching (DiT) for FE and Skills.
You will possess a degree/high level vocational qualification, with an advanced level teaching qualification recognised by the FE sector (e.g. PGCE, DET or equivalent). You will have a strong record of success in Teaching, Learning and Assessment in Further Education, with experience in delivering staff development, including supporting teaching staff to improve their teaching practice. You will also have experience of conducting developmental lesson observations in FE, and of developing high quality learning and training resources.
The working pattern will include teaching 1 evening per week until 9.00pm, currently on Tuesdays, during term time.
