We are seeking enthusiastic Learning Technologists (1 permanent, 1 fixed term to cover a period of maternity leave) to support College staff in the use of digital and blended learning. This role involves delivering training, developing training resources, and resolving queries related to teaching and learning. You will drive forward digital innovation in the classroom, ensuring that students benefit from engaging, interactive, and effective learning experiences.
You will work within a team of Technologists, supporting and driving forward our new innovative Immersive Rooms, and supporting the College in preparing staff and students for the classroom of the future.
You would develop and deliver a range of information and learning technologies to support student engagement and outstanding teaching, embedding digital technologies into teaching and learning across the College, train staff and students on the use of digital learning tools and platforms, managing eLearning initiatives and projects and exploring and implement cutting-edge educational technologies.
You should have strong knowledge of digital learning and blended learning methodologies, and experience in administering learning technology platforms for learners, with the ability to deliver training and to develop training resources. You will have a minimum of 12 months’ experience working in an educational environment including working with learners. You will have an innovative approach, with a passion for exploring new educational technologies, in particular XR technologies, with strong communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with staff and students.
