Who we need & What you will bring
We are seeking to recruit an inspirational teacher of History to contribute to the high quality teaching in both GCSE and A levels at High Pavement 6th Form (1.0FTE). History is a popular subject choice here at High Pavement at both level 2 and 3 and you will act as the lead teacher of GCSE History as part of a small team alongside our Assistant Head for FT GCSE to provide a fun and engaging learning environment for our students. There will also be a requirement to deliver Extended Project Qualification (EPQ) and some employability content at level 2 as part of this full-time teaching role.
The successful candidate will be passionate, enthusiastic and have experience of teaching A Level and GCSE History with delivery of AQA specifications being an advantage. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, empathy, and the ability to support our students to reach their academic potential. The successful candidate will have the digital skills to enhance teaching, learning and assessment and be fully invested in continuing to update their pedogogy through ongoing CPD.
