Are you passionate about advancing research in energy transfer technologies? We are seeking a motivated PhD candidate to join an exciting project within the EPSRC Energy Transfer Technologies Doctoral Training Hub, supported by Qinetiq. The project will focus on developing novel 3D-printed structures for UAS applications to enhance defence and security capabilities.
Project Overview
3D printing and UAS are increasingly vital tools in defence and security sectors. As these technologies grow, so does the need for protective countermeasures to maintain the operational function of assets. This PhD will explore co-printing strategies to create multifunctional UAS bodies with novel properties designed to withstand specific threats.
