James Watt School of Engineering
This post is part-time (20 hours per week), and open ended with funding available for up to 9 months in the first instance.
The James Watt School of Engineering is looking for a Research Assistant to contribute to a project MIMER working with (Dr. Ahmed Zoha). "This project seeks to design a robust deepfake detection and authentication framework, specifically optimized for deployment within financial institutions to enhance identity verification and fraud prevention.” The successful candidate will also be expected to contribute to the formulation and submission of research publications and research proposals as well as help manage and direct this complex and challenging project as opportunities allow.
