The role
The School of Biological Sciences are seeking to appoint an Administrative Assistant to join their busy Executive Support Team, who work closely to ensure key school activities are managed effectively and delivered on time. You will primarily cover the reception desk and work closely with the team on a wide range of school administrative tasks.
This is a varied and interesting role and would suit someone who has good customer service skills, highly organised and can work on multiple tasks and small projects. Due to the nature of the role, you will need to be in the office 4 days a week.

We are particularly interested in candidates who have a high-level of organisation. You will be good at thinking on your feet, dealing with multiple demands and adapt to changing priorities on a reception-based role.
You will have excellent customer service and communication skills, and the ability to form effective relationships with staff and stakeholders across all levels. You will have a supportive approach to work, with a friendly and positive manner.
