The opportunity
Are you passionate about creating and delivering engaging communications that guide prospective students through their journey from application to enrolment?
If you have experience of developing impactful communication campaigns and working with supporting engagement technologies to enable CRM practices, we want you to join our team at University of the Arts London (UAL).
As part of UAL’s Student Marketing, Recruitment, and Admissions department, your role will be central to ensuring a first-class prospective student experience. Under the guidance of the Communications and Engagement Manager (Prospective Students), one of your main responsibilities will be planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating effective applicant and offer holder communication campaigns, ensuring seamless and engaging communication at every stage of the student journey.
You will be the first point of contact for colleagues utilising approved systems for student marketing, recruitment, and admissions activities, offering guidance on event management, lead capture and communications. In addition to this, you will play a key role in utilising engagement technologies, systems, and processes to convert prospective enquirers into applicants and enrolled students.
Drawing on your strong written and verbal communication skills, you will deliver training sessions and create or update supporting materials to help colleagues maximise the use of supporting engagement technologies. You will also help to identify and resolve associated system issues and collaborate with teams to ensure our platforms remain fit for purpose.
About you
To succeed in this role, you will need experience of planning, developing, and implementing mass communication campaigns, ideally within Higher Education or similar sectors. You know how to use engagement technologies to create personalised, data-driven communications that effectively engage diverse target audiences.
You will also have experience of working with engagement technologies, including system administration and/or user support. In addition to this, you will be skilled at supporting and training colleagues and systematically troubleshooting engagement-related issues to ensure smooth operations.
Your strong understanding of engagement practices, and GDPR, as well as your ability to collaborate effectively with teams, will make a direct impact on UAL’s student recruitment efforts.
