The opportunity

London College of Fashion (LCF) is seeking a forward-thinking Lecturer in Womenswear Design to join a talented academic team at one of the world’s leading institutions for fashion education.

Working closely with the course team on BA (Hons) Fashion Design Technology: Womenswear, you will ensure students receive an excellent learning experience by delivering teaching that explores womenswear design in depth, covering design, technology, and production with a focus on preparing students for careers in a dynamic and fast-evolving sector.

This is an exciting opportunity to take responsibility for teaching and curriculum development on a course that benefits from strong industry partnerships with leading fashion houses such as Marc Jacobs and Simone Rocha. Whether you come from academia or the fashion industry, you’ll have an up-to-date knowledge of current and emerging trends in fashion, along with a strong awareness of industry expectations.

You’ll be comfortable working independently and collaboratively within a diverse team, and you’ll have a clear commitment to student pastoral care and academic support.
