Are you a HCPC-registered Educational Psychologist driven by critical thinking and a desire to make a difference? Do you find energy in fostering the growth of future professionals and exploring innovative approaches to practice?

As University Tutor, you’ll be at the forefront of shaping future Educational Psychologists on our DEdCPsy programme at The University of Sheffield.

A cornerstone of our programme is our strong and supportive research-practice partnership with Educational Psychology services, particularly across the Yorkshire-Humberside region. We welcome candidates who are passionate about contributing to and strengthening this vital collaboration.

As a DEdCPsy University Tutor, you will:

  • Contribute directly to the delivery and development of high-quality teaching and learning on the DEdCPsy programme.
  • Provide academic and pastoral support to our motivated and engaged doctoral students.
  • Collaborate with academic colleagues within the School of Education to co-supervise student research projects.
  • Participate in the ongoing development and evolution of our curriculum, informed by critical and ecological perspectives.
  • Engage with our partner Educational Psychology services, fostering knowledge exchange and collaborative initiatives.
  • Contribute your skills and enthusiasm to a friendly, supportive, and collaborative tutor team environment.

We are looking for individuals who are:

  • Qualified Educational Psychologists registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
  • Experienced in teaching, training, and/or supervision within an educational or professional context.
  • Strongly committed to fostering student development and success.
