Summary of the role:
The primary function of this role is to provide essential laboratory support for research laboratories on the Streatham campus. Based in the Living Systems Institute (LSI) http://www.exeter.ac.uk/livingsystems/, the role holder will work with other assistant technicians and technical managers to support academic staff and research students working in a suite of Class 2 research laboratories, with facilities for tissue culture, microscopy, molecular biology, biochemistry and physical sciences.
Typical duties will include making stocks of media and reagents, restocking and housekeeping of laboratories and some administrative duties.
