This is a fixed term appointment until 31st July 2026 with the possibility of extension

The role will be offered on a part-time basis (21 hours (0.6 FTE) per week)

The Financial Markets Group (FMG) is a leading centre for research into financial markets. Research at the FMG examines how stable and efficient the financial system is, how it supports the real economy, and what policy measures can generate improvements in these dimensions.

The FMG is seeking an exceptional administrator to join the growing administrative team to deliver high-quality and professional administrative support to the FMG and the Initiative in Sustainable Finance within the Global School of Sustainability (GSoS). This is a varied role and provides opportunities to work with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders to develop skills and experience across different administrative functions. 

Candidates should have:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; Ability to communicate clearly, concisely and accurately to a wide variety of people and appropriate to the situations
  • Ability to plan and organise own workload and use initiative with limited supervision
  • Ability to work to deadlines and to prioritise multiple tasks whilst maintaining attention to detail
  • Ability to use initiative and a proactive and creative approach to tackle tasks

Experience of events management, diary management, web editing or using web content management systems, and using social media is desirable.
