About the Role
The purpose of this role is to provide high-level and comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to the Vice-Principal, ensuring they are always fully briefed and prepared, and ensuring the smooth, efficient and effective running of their agenda, diary, budgets, recruitment and meetings. As well as encompassing the traditional responsibilities of an EA role, the post holder will be expected to work collaboratively with other team members within the Office of the Principal on reports, events and speaking engagements to ensure that the Vice-Principals and the wider office follows policies and procedures and operates effectively and efficiently.
About You
With experience of managing sensitive diary and business management activities in a complex environment at executive level, you will be able to work independently and proactively on non- routine matters and exercise judgement and decision-making skills in all aspects of work. You should have experience of establishing good working relationships with staff and students and with external agencies, of organizing and servicing meetings, including the preparation of papers and taking and transcribing minutes and creating action plans, and of organising complex itineraries and associated documentation for travel in the UK and internationally.
