Hours: Full Time
Contract Type: Permanent
Placed On: 14th April 2025
Closes: 27th April 2025
Job Ref: 325

This role manages a key part of our student recruitment strategy – the creation and delivery of outstanding content, specialising in subject-focussed material, telling the stories of the University across our products or sub brands.

The successful candidate will understand how to portray what makes BCU special and why prospective students should study their choice of course with us rather than anywhere else.

With an expert eye for great content and the ability to transform good ideas into great material - you will lead a team of Content Officers to create wealth of assets that will stand out from the higher education sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Head of Content to deliver a subject content strategy, aligned to wider content development to support student recruitment across all undergraduate and postgraduate markets.
  • Oversee the development of content to support conversion activity across the entire prospective student journey, from building new audiences through the application process to enrolment and beyond.
  • Ensure that all content produced is of a high standard – is compelling, high quality and is tailored to relevant audiences and channels.
  • Develop great visual content to bring our campuses to life for prospective students at open days, and for engaging current students with relevant campaigns throughout their time at BCU.
  • Manage Content Officers, setting objectives, managing priorities and driving high performance and development.

What’s in it for you?

  • Generous annual leave of 40 days (including bank holidays and closure periods), pro-rata.
  • Attractive pension options, including a direct contribution scheme or the option to retain LGPS for eligible members.
  • Wellbeing support through the Employee Assistance Programme.
  • Access to the Cycle to Work Scheme.
