Faculty of Medicine – Clinical Trials Unit
The Southampton Clinical Trials Unit (SCTU) is a UKCRC registered CTU based at Southampton University Hospitals NHS Trust, with expertise in the design, conduct and analysis of multi-centre, interventional clinical trials. We work in partnership with investigators to deliver high quality trials, which directly influence routine clinical practice. SCTU is core-funded by Cancer Research UK (CRUK) together with funding from the National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR) via the Biomedical Research Centre (BRC) and Research Support Service (RSS).
We have a vacancy for a Senior Clinical Trials Data Manager to join the Data Management team at SCTU. This role is responsible for leading, planning and execution of all data management activities for assigned projects, in accordance with SCTU processes and regulatory standards.
The employing organisation is the University of Southampton which offers a competitive salary, pension scheme and other benefits. The post is offered on a 2 year fixed-term contract in the first instance with the possibility of an extension. SCTU offer the option to be fully office based at Southampton General Hospital, or a hybrid work arrangement with a minimum of 3 days per week in the office if full time.
