The British Psychological Society is a membership and representative body for psychologists and the wider psychological professions, with a history dating back over 120 years.  We support our members through every stage of their careers, providing a suite of qualifications and professional development opportunities.

We now have a vacancy for a Qualifications Officer to join our friendly team. This is a great opportunity to support the delivery of the Society’s qualification portfolio, ensuring that it is delivered to the highest standards, meeting external and internal quality assurance requirements.

Reporting to the Qualifications Manager, you will support and advise learners who are enrolled on qualifications, as well as supervisors and subject experts.

For this role, you must be educated to at least A level standard, with a high level of literacy and numeracy, and have experience of working in an education, professional development or learning environment.

In addition, we are looking for: 

  • A proven track record of building effective working relationships, internally and externally
  • Experience of working effectively in a team and independently, exercising sound judgement and initiative
  • Excellent communication skills, with evidence of providing exceptional customer service
  • Sound organisational and administrative skills, with good attention to detail
  • Proficient with the use of IT systems
  • Experience of working with a Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) is desirable,
